What are the design categories of A' Design Award & Competition?

A' Design Award & Competition features a wide range of design categories, spanning over 100 categories. Key categories include industrial product design, architectural and interior design, furniture, sanitary ware, electronic devices, robotics, UX-UI design, yacht, automobile, jewelry, accessories, fashion, graphics, visual communication, lighting, and packaging design. Participants can select the category most appropriate for their design by clicking the "Categories" button below.

Is there a fee for the preliminary evaluation of A' Design Award?

No, there is no fee for pre-evaluations for the A' Design Award & Competition. Registration for the A' Design Award & Competition and receiving pre-evaluation scores for any number of designs (for a limited period) are free of charge. There is no obligation to nominate designs after the free pre-evaluation. There are no additional payments or contractually mandated "additional fees" expected from award winners in the Pro Edition and Digital Entry entry types for the A' Design Award & Competition.

How do you participate in the preliminary evaluations?

You can apply by uploading photos or digital images of your designs and describing your design specifications. If your preliminary evaluation score is 5 or higher, we encourage you to nominate your designs/projects. However, before registering on the A' Design Award website, we strongly recommend contacting Cobanli Art Center at +90 531 435 4089 to inquire about your account type, which you will need to select from the A' Design Award website (such as Enterprise Account, Agency Account, or Professional Account). As a representative, all technical support you receive from Cobanli Art Center regarding the A' Design Award is free of charge. If you do not receive your preliminary evaluation result within 3 business days, you can contact us to inquire in Italy. 

Rendered images of unproduced designs Is it possible to participate in A' Design Award & Competition  ? 

Yes, you can participate in the A' Design Award & Competition with both renderings of designs that have not yet been produced and images of your designs that have been produced.

Can you participate in A' Design Award & Competition with designs that have previously won awards?

Yes, you can participate in the A' Design Award & Competition with designs that have previously won awards in another competition. 

What prizes do A' Design Award winners receive?

Winners of the A' Design Award & Competition receive various awards. Awards are presented in the Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron categories. Multiple awards may be presented within each award level. 

What PR opportunities are available for A' Design Award winners?

The A' Design Award & Competition is one of the world's largest and most influential design competitions, boasting extensive international PR campaigns. Design Rankings are determined by over 50 official media partners and nearly 2,200 affiliated design publications. The A' Design Award & Competition offers a wide range of PR opportunities for winners. The A' Design Award & Competition ensures that designers receive the same PR coverage as the company's. Winning designs are promoted by international media outlets and design platforms. Winners are also supported with press releases and news coverage through the A' Design Award's media partners. Participants with a large number of designs can benefit from significantly more extensive PR. Additionally, it introduces award-winning designs, designers and companies to the world through www.designers.org/ 

How many designs can you submit to A' Design Award?

We'd like to remind you that the competition awards  are not individual awards in the Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Iron categories. Multiple individuals or companies can simultaneously receive the same award in each category. The more you submit multiple designs, the higher your chances of winning a prize, and the higher your chances of winning the top prize or the prize close to it. We'd also like to point out that while some previous contestants  have submitted photos of finished works or renderings of unfinished work, some have submitted a single design as a single participant in the A' Design Award. Some have received awards for far more than 10 designs as a single participant. Furthermore, those submitting multiple designs can achieve much more extensive PR. Therefore, we recommend submitting as many designs as possible . 

What is Pro Entry?

Design Award & Competition spectrum, including a trophy for Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron winners, a physical yearbook, a physical exhibition, a physical certificate, a physical A' Design Award yearbook, physical printed materials, a winner's kit, lifetime logo use, an invitation to a Gala night in Italy, press releases, design interviews, international translations, media presentations, and more. Based on surveys and research identifying the needs of Pro Entry participants, Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) is designed to help award winners gain international exposure, create business opportunities for award winners, and provide media placement and promotional opportunities for award-winning designs. What is Digital Entry?

Digital Entry is an option that significantly reduces nomination fees. It's a digital version of Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry), especially for young and beginner account types. Digital Entry uses the same judging methodology as Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry), and judges don't discriminate and won't know whether they're voting for a Digital Entry or a Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry). This ensures both entry methods share the same scientific peer review and anonymous voting criteria, while reducing the cost of entry by reducing post-competition submissions. It's an excellent choice for individuals and businesses with limited budgets. Other services offered by A' Design Award & Competition include public relations services such as press releases, design interviews, international translations, media presentations, and more. If a winner wins a prize through Digital Entry, they can upgrade their entry from Digital Entry to Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) by paying an additional fee to Cobanli Art Center up to three days after the awards announcement date. Items not included in Digital Entry: Trophy (award cup), physical yearbook, physical exhibition, physical certificate, physical A' Design Award yearbook, physical printed materials, winner set, invitation to Gala night in Italy are not included in Digital Entry.

What documents and materials are required to participate in A' Design Award & Competition?

To participate, you must upload photos or renderings of your original designs and include design descriptions on the A' Design Award & Competition website. You must also complete documents like the “Licence and Declaration.” Additional documents and approvals may be requested during the participation process, and these must be completed on time.

Can I get technical support related to the A' Design Award website?

If you need technical support related to A' Design Award & Competition, please know that Çobanlı Art Center will gladly provide you with free technical support until February 28, 2025. However, even if they have received technical support, all participants must follow the A' Design Award & Competition website, its control panel, and any emails that A' Design Award & Competition may send from the date of their participation until the GALA DATE. They must also pay attention to and promptly complete any possible rules, instructions, notifications, and warnings regarding their participation. When should you participate in A' Design Award?

We recommend participating in the competition as early as possible and completing your website submissions as soon as possible. Based on our observations of previous participants, it may take weeks to finalize your participation due to possible correction emails from A' Design Award regarding your texts, photos, renderings, approvals, etc. The Nomination Ticket prices for the competition are currently at their lowest level and will increase as the final entry deadline approaches. Therefore, we advise purchasing your Nomination Tickets without delay.

 

After receiving your Nomination Tickets from Çobanlı Art Center and Construction Ltd. Company, you can upload your designs at any time until the last participation date and use your Nomination Tickets until the last day of the competition participation period. If you cannot use your nomination tickets that you can buy from Çobanlı Art Center until the last participation date of this period, you can use them for another period within 365 days after purchasing.

What is Express Judging Service? 

The Express Judging Service aims to generate immediate publicity for your products, design concepts, and work. With the Express Judging Service, those who learn of their award wins early can announce their wins and launch their own PR campaigns. However, A' Design Award & Competition's global PR campaigns will be launched after the overall results are announced. With the Express Judging Service, you can immediately participate in the Jury voting (openly or confidentially, depending on your preference). You will learn whether you have won an award and the award you received within three business days (excluding Italian public holidays).
