What are the design categories of A' Design Award & Competition?
A' Design Award & Competition offers over 100 design categories, covering a broad range of fields. Key categories include industrial product design, architectural and interior design, furniture, sanitary ware, electronic devices, yachts, cars, jewelry, accessories, fashion, graphic design, visual communication, lighting, and packaging design. Is there a fee for the preliminary evaluation of A' Design Award?
No, the preliminary evaluations for A' Design Award & Competition are free of charge. You can submit as many designs as you wish for preliminary evaluation free of charge until a specified date.
How do you participate in the preliminary evaluations?
You can apply by uploading photos or renderings of your designs and explaining their features. If your preliminary evaluation score is 5 or above, you can proceed to the second stage of the competition. If you do not receive your preliminary evaluation result within 3 business days, you can contact us to inquire with Italian Office.
How to participate in the pre-evaluations?
You can apply by uploading photos or renderings of your designs and explaining your design features. If your pre-evaluation result is 5 or above, you can participate in the 2nd stage of the competition. If you do not receive your pre-evaluation result within 3 business days, you can contact us to ask Italy.
Is it possible to participate in A' Design Award & Competition with unproduced designs?
Yes, you can participate in A' Design Award & Competition with both unproduced and produced designs.

What prizes do A' Design Award winners receive?
Winners of A' Design Award & Competition receive various prizes. The awards are given in Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron categories. Multiple awards can be given in each category.
What PR opportunities are available for A' Design Award winners?
A' Design Award & Competition offers extensive PR opportunities for winners. Award-winning designs are promoted by international media organizations and design platforms. Additionally, winners are supported with press releases and news through A' Design Award's media partners. Participants who submit multiple designs can benefit from much broader PR exposure.
How many designs can you submit to A' Design Award?
Please note that there isn't just one award per category in the Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron categories; multiple people or companies can receive the same award simultaneously. If you submit multiple entries, your chances of winning an award or the top prize increase significantly. Additionally, past participants have submitted a single design or many more than 10 designs, and those who entered with a large number of designs have often received broader PR exposure. Therefore, we recommend participating with as many designs as possible. You can enter the competition with as many designs as you want through PRO ENTRY (Pro Edition Entry), PLATINUM ENTRY or DIGITAL ENTRY. You can also submit some designs through Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) and others through Digital Entry. If it fits your budget, we recommend submitting all your designs through PRO ENTRY (Pro Edition Entry). Even if you enter with Digital Entry, we strongly advise submitting at least one design through PRO ENTRY (Pro Edition Entry).Pro Entry (When you participate with many designs with Pro Edition Entry and/or Platinum Entry and receive many awards, you will be called to the stage by being announced for your biggest award at the Gala night in Italy and you will receive all your awards at the same time on the stage. (For example, if you receive different awards such as Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron for your different designs; if you go on stage at the Gala night with your name written for your biggest award, Platinum, and you will receive all your awards at the same time on the stage at the Platinum ceremony at the Gala.)
What is Express Judging Service?
Express Judging Service aims to create instant PR for your products, design concepts and works. Those who learn that they have won an award with Express Judging Service can announce their award and start their own PR campaigns if they wish. However, A’ Design Award & Competition’s global PR campaigns will be launched after the general results are announced. After purchasing Nomination Tickets, you can immediately enter the Jury voting (openly or secretly, depending on your preference) with Express Judging Service and learn immediately within 3 business days (excluding Italian public holidays) whether you have won an award or what your award is in the Jury voting. If you wish, you can request that your award be fixed or that it be voted on again with the Grand Jury. You can ask our Çobanlı Art Center for the details of Express Judging Service.
What is Pro Entry?
Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) is the most common way to participate in the A' Design Award & Competition and is the original method for those wanting to be part of the A' Design Awards. Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) includes the full range of public relations services of A' Design Award & Competition, such as a physical award, yearbook, exhibition, certificate, logo licensing, gala night invitation, press release, design interviews, international translations, media presentation, and more. It is designed to help winners promote themselves internationally, create business opportunities, and secure media placements and promotions for award-winning designs. What is Digital Entry?
Digital Entry is an option that significantly reduces the nomination fees. It is the digital version of Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry), particularly for young and starter accounts. The award trophy, hardcover yearbook, metal-framed certificate, printed materials, gala night invitation, and physical exhibition included in the winners' set of Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry) are excluded in Digital Entry. Digital Entry follows the same evaluation methodology as Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry), and jurors do not know whether they are voting on a Digital Entry or Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry). This ensures that both entry methods are subject to the same scientific peer review and anonymous voting evaluation criteria while reducing participation costs by minimizing post-competition deliverables. It is an excellent choice for individuals and companies with limited budgets. Designs deemed suitable for digital exhibition by A' Design Award & Competition will be displayed on screens in exhibition halls. Only Platinum and Gold winners are automatically included in the yearbooks. If you win with Digital Entry, you can upgrade your participation from Digital Account to Pro Account (Pro Edition Entry) within 3 days after the announcement of the awards by paying an additional fee to Çobanlı Art Center. However, if you upgrade your participation from Digital Account to Pro Account (Pro Edition Entry) 4 calendar days or later after the awards announcement, you may miss out on some benefits of Pro Account (Pro Edition Entry).
What is Platinum Entry?
Platinum Entry is a very innovative nomination method by A' Design Award and Competition. Platinum Entry is a different Pro Entry (Pro Edition Entry). Platinum Entry is created for designers and companies who cannot accept any other award status other than Platinum or Gold. The evaluation methodology is the same. After the criteria-based jury evaluation and anonymous voting, the result will be announced if your Design receives Platinum or Gold. If your Design receives Silver, Bronze or Iron awards or does not receive any award, your results will not be announced and your entry will be invalid. This entry method is often preferred by companies who do not want to be heard that they have received an award other than Platinum or Gold. We would also like to gladly inform you that those who receive a Platinum Nomination Ticket only through Çobanlı Art Center will be given a free Platinum Nomination Ticket for the next competition period (for a one-time fee) through Çobanlı Art Center if they do not receive one of the Platinum or Gold awards.
What documents and materials are required to participate in A' Design Award & Competition?
To participate, you must upload photos or renderings of your original designs and include design descriptions on the A' Design Award & Competition website. You must also complete documents like the “Licence and Declaration.” Additional documents and approvals may be requested during the participation process, and these must be completed on time.
Can I get technical support related to the A' Design Award website?
If you need technical support related to A' Design Award & Competition, please know that Çobanlı Art Center will gladly provide you with free technical support until February 28, 2025. However, even if they have received technical support, all participants must follow the A' Design Award & Competition website, its control panel, and any emails that A' Design Award & Competition may send from the date of their participation until the GALA DATE. They must also pay attention to and promptly complete any possible rules, instructions, notifications, and warnings regarding their participation. When should you participate in A' Design Award?
We recommend participating in the competition as early as possible and completing your website submissions as soon as possible. Based on our observations of previous participants, it may take weeks to finalize your participation due to possible correction emails from A' Design Award regarding your texts, photos, renderings, approvals, etc. The Nomination Ticket prices for the competition are currently at their lowest level and will increase as the final entry deadline approaches. Therefore, we advise purchasing your Nomination Tickets without delay.
After receiving your Nomination Tickets from Çobanlı Art Center and Construction Ltd. Company, you can upload your designs at any time until the last participation date and use your Nomination Tickets until the last day of the competition participation period. If you cannot use your nomination tickets that you can buy from Çobanlı Art Center until the last participation date of this period, you can use them for another period within 365 days after purchasing.
